At the Redmi 12 series launch event in India, Xiaomi also announced the Redmi Watch 3 Active for the country. The product was initially unveiled in a select few global markets a few weeks back.

This device is similar to other cheap wearables that look like a smartwatch but is merely fitness tracker. However, it looks attractive and is more affordable than a proper smartwatch.

The Redmi Watch 3 Active resembles Apple Watch with its square design. It sports a 1.83-inch display (LCD) with a resolution of 240 x 280 pixels and up to 450 nits brightness level. The screen supports over 200 watch faces.

The middle frame of the wearable is metal giving it a premium look and feel. It is water resistant (5 ATM), and therefore can be worn in rain and near water bodies.

The device features an optical heart rate sensor and an SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen level tracking. It supports common health functions, such as sleep monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking, and more. There’s also support for 100+ fitness modes.

The product can be also used to make and receive calls as it comes with a speaker and a microphone. It pairs with smartphones via Bluetooth 5.3 and is compatible with both Android and iOS.

Last but not least, Xiaomi claims up to 12 days of battery life on light usage and up to 8 days on heavy usage.

Redmi Watch 3 Active Price in India

The Redmi Watch 3 Active is priced at ₹2,999 (limited time) in India. It can be availed in either Platinum Grey or Charcoal black color options.

The first sale for the wearable is scheduled for 12 PM on August 3rd via Mi.com and retail stores.
