A few days back, Xiaomi unveiled the pricing of the Redmi 12 smartphone in India. The device has now gone on sale in the country with attractive bank offers.

The Redmi 12 4G comes in two variants – 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB, priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,499, respectively. Customers using ICICI Credit and Debit cards can avail an instant discount of Rs 1,000. After applying the discount, the effective prices will be Rs 8,999 for the 4GB+128GB model and Rs 10,499 for the 6GB+128GB model. The phone is available for purchase on mi.com, Flipkart, and Xiaomi retail stores.

The Redmi 12 4G boasts a large 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and featuring a Corning Gorilla Glass layer for added protection. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 12nm processor, paired with the Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and there’s also support for 6GB of virtual RAM to enhance multitasking capabilities.

For photography, the phone features a versatile camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter for capturing selfies and making video calls.

To keep the device powered throughout the day, the Redmi 12 4G packs a sizable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, ensuring minimal downtime during charging sessions. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging.

The phone also comes with some practical features, such as an IP53 rating for splash resistance, offering protection against accidental splashes. Additionally, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for convenient and secure unlocking of the device. Lastly, it operates on Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin.
