LG has launched new monitors in India. They are called LG UltraGear OLED and are catered towards gaming enthusiasts. The newly launched monitors pack a host of specifications like a high refresh rate, curved display, an ergonomic design, and more to offer the ultimate gaming experience. There are also various gaming monitors in India but LG’s Ultragear offering likely goes up against Samsung’s Odyssey range of monitors. Let’s take a look at the LG’s gaming monitors. 

LG UltraGear OLED specifications and features

The LG UltraGear OLED monitor is offered in a 27 and 45-inch display sizes. The former has a QHD resolution whereas the latter The 27-inch model also has a flat display whereas the 45-inch variant comes with an 800-degree curvature for an immersive experience. Both monitors feature an OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, a 0.03ms response time, and reduced motion blur. There is HDR10 support and 98 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. 

The LG UltraGear OLED monitors are compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync along with AMD FreeSync Premium for a tear-free and stutter-free gaming experience There are additional features like dynamic action sync, black stabilizer, crosshair, and FPS counter. The 45-inch variant also comes with picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture mode allowing users to run multiple games or tasks simultaneously. 

Design-wise, the LG UltraGear OLED monitors feature Hexagon lighting on the backside. The base offers swivel, tilt, and height adjustments for a comfortable usage experience. The monitors also have a 4-sided borderless design. They also support VESA mount to prop the display on a wall. There is a 4-port headphone out for an immersive sound experience with virtual 3D and DTS Headphone: X. 

The LG UltraGear OLED monitors come with a dedicated gaming remote control. Connectivity options on the monitors include two HDMI 2.1 ports, Display 1.4, three USB 3.0 ports, and an optical port. 

The LG UltraGear OLED 27-inch model is priced at Rs 1,24,000 (currently on Amazon at Rs. 85,000 for a limited period) whereas the 45-inch variant costs Rs 2,41,000 (currently at Rs. 1,65,000 for a limited period on Amazon). Both monitors can be purchased from LG-authorized stores and Amazon.
