Realme teases new phone in India

Realme has not explicitly revealed the name of the upcoming smartphone. The brand is teasing the device with a ‘Double Leap, Coming Soon’ tagline. The shared teaser image gives us a hint at the forthcoming Realme phone. The device has a circular camera module on the left side of the back panel. The volume rocker and power buttons are located on the right side with the latter doubling up as a fingerprint scanner. The rest of the details of the smartphone remain a mystery for now. We can expect Realme to share more teasers in the coming days.

Going by the teaser image, the upcoming Realme smartphone seems to be the Realme 11 that debuted in the global markets recently. It remains to be seen whether the brand will launch the phone’s 5G or 4G version in India.

The Realme 11 5G and 4G have slightly different specs from each other. The former has a 6.7-inch LCD display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate whereas the latter features a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Both phones have a 108MP HM6 primary camera paired with a 2MP secondary lens on the back. Internally, the 5G variant is powered by a Dimensity 6100+ processor while the 4G model is equipped with a Helio G99 SoC. Both phones pack up to 8G RAm and 256G storage. They are backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
