OnePlus confirmed that the Ace 2 Pro will feature an ultra-thin optical screen fingerprint technology, promising a flagship-level unlocking experience. As can be seen in the image above, the fingerprint sensor will be positioned 2cm higher than what is typically seen on OnePlus phones.

According to OnePlus China President Li Jie, moving the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro’s fingerprint module 2cm higher resulted in a fourfold increase in cost. He added that the increased cost is clearly reflected in the Ace 2 Pro, which demonstrates OnePlus’ commitment to innovation and quality. Through these advancements, OnePlus continues to demonstrate its commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering unparalleled experiences to its users.

So far, the company has confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will have a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a 5,000mAh battery with 150W fast charging. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power the device. It is expected to come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device will run on ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 and come equipped with an aerospace-grade heat dissipation unit with a very large surface area. It will come in grey and green color variants.
