Following numerous leaks, the most recent one showcasing its appearance, Vivo has now provided a sneak peek of the upcoming Vivo V29e smartphone in the Indian market. The company chose Twitter as the platform for this announcement regarding the imminent launch. Additionally, the teaser is readily accessible on the official Vivo India website, effectively verifying the device’s design.
In addition to the dual rear cameras on the back, the teaser also reveals that the camera will feature OIS stabilization. 91Mobiles has also leaked some details regarding the camera specifications and Indian price range of the device.
As per the report, the Vivo V29e will feature a 64MP main camera on its rear, enhanced by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), promising excellent performance in capturing night portraits. On the front, the device boasts a 50MP camera with autofocus capabilities.
The V29e seems to be purposefully crafted as a camera-centric smartphone, catering to those who have a keen interest in selfies. As per the report, the anticipated cost of the V29e is approximately Rs 30,000. The launch is expected to introduce two options: one with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and another with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
Rumors state that the phone could feature a Snapdragon 480 5G or Snapdragon 480+ 5G chipset. It is worth noting that these are entry-level 5G chipsets from Qualcomm. So it looks like the phone will be sacrificing processing power for high-megapixel cameras.
