Redmi is launching the K60 Ultra smartphone in China on August 14th, along with its latest foldable, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. The company has already revealed some of the phone’s specifications. But now a company executive on Weibo has announced that there will also be a special white version of the phone.

The white version of the Redmi K60 Ultra will have a different colored frame than the rest of the phone. The executive didn’t share any images of this edition of the smartphone, but we can expect to learn more soon.

So far, Redmi has only revealed the green and black color variant of the K60 Ultra. The phone has flat frames and curved corners, which makes it comfortable to hold. The back has a square-shaped camera island with three lenses.

Rounding up the smartphone’s specifications, teasers have confirmed that the phone will have a 144Hz display with 1.5K resolution and a peak brightness of up to 2600 nits. It will also have 2880Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming. The phone will be available with up to 24GB of LDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will also be water-resistant to IP68 standards, meaning it can withstand being submerged in water up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes.
