Despite the Samsung Galaxy S24 series launch being months away, rumors have already started surfacing regarding the upcoming flagship smartphones. And now, a fresh leak has revealed interesting details regarding the top-end model, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. So let’s have a look.
Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra sports a new & improved display
The leak was shared by known tipster Ice Universe who shared the information on X (formerly Twitter). Looking at the tweet, he stated that he can confirm that the Galaxy S24 Ultra model finally received notable upgrades in the display. Unfortunately, the tipster did not reveal any finer details regarding these said improvements, so the upgrades or possible new features are still unclear.
The tweet from Ice Universe is in line with our previous report. The South Korean tech giant will reportedly ship the Galaxy S24 Ultra with a new and improved M13 OLED material. This M13 OLED is likely an upgraded panel over its predecessor, which is the M12 and M11. The former is expected to be featured on the iPhone 15 while the latter is found on the existing Galaxy S23 lineup.
In other words, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a true upgrade over the current-gen Galaxy S23 Ultra. Some of the possible improvements might include overall brightness, which may cross 2,000 nits at peak. The panel could also offer better energy efficiency, helping in keeping the battery drain low. Keep in mind that this is still just speculation at the moment, so take this news with a pinch of salt.
