Xiaomi recently unveiled the Smart Home Display Pro 8 in China. The device is now up for sale for a price of 749 yuan ($102).
Xiaomi Smart Home Display Pro 8 comes with an integrated 7500mAh battery that frees it from the constraints of constant power connection. With a battery life of up to 15 hours on a single charge, the device becomes a versatile companion for various scenarios.
Design and Display: Merging Style with Functionality
The device features an 8-inch large screen with a resolution of 1280×800, allowing for clear visuals. Users can adjust the screen angle between 90° and 120° for optimal viewing.
Powered by the MIUI Home system, the Smart Home Display Pro 8 offers a central control hub for managing the smart home ecosystem. The interface provides an organized overview of different aspects of the home, categorized by scene and room type. Lighting, environment, socket switches, curtains, and other devices can all be managed from one place.
The Smart Home Display Pro 8 seamlessly integrates with the Xiaomi Central Hub for local control, ensuring that users can manage devices on the local network even without internet connectivity.
Supporting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and wide-angle infrared control methods, the Smart Home Display Pro 8 offers compatibility with both Xiaomi’s platform and third-party IoT platforms and devices, enhancing its flexibility.
Under the hood, the Smart Home Display Pro 8 is powered by an A53 quad-core AI processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and stereo dual speakers for audio output.
