Realme will hold a launch event in India on August 23 to announce a new lineup of smartphones and the Buds Air 5 TWS earbuds. The Buds Air 5 will also be released in China a few days later on August 28. The Realme GT 5 is also confirmed to be announced at the event.

Realme has teased the upcoming Buds Air 5 with a design poster that looks similar to the Indian variant that was teased earlier. As a result, the new earbuds will likely feature large 12.4mm sound drivers and will be available in three colors: Blue and White.

There will also be support for active noise cancellation (ANC) that can block up to 50dB of noise. This is similar to the ANC level of the Buds 5 Pro, which was launched in China on May 5. The ANC will be accompanied by 6 built-in microphones for clear calls. The earbuds will also support Dolby Atmos for an immersive sound experience. Not much else is known about the Buds 5 yet.

On the other hand, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro has an 11mm base driver and 6mm tweeter combo and supports Spatial audio and the LDAC codec. It also offers an impressive battery life of 40 hours (with the case), is water-resistant, and comes with Bluetooth 5.3 for smooth and reliable connections.
