After a three-year hiatus, Honor has confirmed its entry into the Indian smartphone market. Former Realme CEO Madhav Seth is also involved in the venture as the new CEO of Honor in India. In a new update, the company has announced a key partnership with PSAV Global, which will help it to quickly expand its presence in the country.

Honor partners with PSAV for smartphone in India

Honor’s partnership with PSAV Global will give it access to PSAV’s extensive distribution network and supply chain expertise. PSAV Global is a local firm with a network of over 5,000 retailers and distributors in more than 100 cities. The partnership will also see PSAV provide Honor with marketing, services, and distribution solutions.

Honor said that the partnership will help it to establish its product lineup, partnerships, manufacturing, services, and distribution networks in India. This collaboration is in line with the Indian government’s push for technological self-sufficiency, and it marks a significant milestone in that direction.

To put it concisely, PSAV Global will manage Honor’s daily operations in India until the company establishes its own local setup. This involves tasks like importing devices, establishing distribution networks, and offering marketing and warranty support. This arrangement frees up the HonorTech team to concentrate on broader aspects like product innovation, marketing strategies, and financial matters.

Honor has been independent from Huawei since 2020. PSAV Global has been the official distributor of Honor products in India since then, including tablets, laptops, and wearables. It will now continue to be the official distributor of Honor smartphones in India.
