Earlier, we reported that the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 will power the Honor Magic V2 Lite, which is currently in development. Now, according to the latest leaks, it might release somewhere near September. For those unaware, the Huawei Mate 60 and iPhone 15 is also rumored to launch around September.

As the name suggests, the Honor Magic V2 Lite will be an affordable version of the recently released Honor Magic V2. The current starting price of Magic V2 is 8,999 Yuan (roughly $1233), and it is speculated that the Honor Magic V2 Lite will be around 5,000 Yuan (roughly $685), making it the most affordable foldable smartphone in China. The key specs of the V2 Lite are still unknown. Based on recent leaks, we can expect the device to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1. Other specification details are unknown at the moment.

Honor Magic V2 Specs

The device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 16GB RAM. It has a 7.92-inch OLED panel with a 2156 x 2344 pixel resolution + 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs on the Android 13 operating system and has a 50 MP rear camera with 20MP telephoto and 50MP ultrawide lens. Lastly, the device has a 5000mAh battery with 66W wired charging.
