The Honor MagicBook X16 2024 Ryzen edition is powered by the R5-7640HS processor and is currently available for sale in China for only 2,999 Yuan (equivalent to $415 or INR 34,600). Honor launched the laptop in India earlier this year with the 12th generation Intel Core i5 priced at INR 44,990.

The Ryzen edition, which is now available in China, comes with a “Glacier Silver” color and a single configuration of 16+512GB. It is only 17.9mm in thickness and weighs 1.75kg.

The display boasts a 16″ IPS panel with an FHD+ resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. You can have an idea about the bezels from the image. The display comes with an anti-glare finish. It supports 300 nits of peak brightness. Speaking of eye care, the panel boasts TUV Rheinland low blue light emission certification. According to the company, it equips their self-developed technology to offer a natural light-like look.

The Ryzen 5-7640HS equips the Zen 4 architecture with 6 cores and 12 threads. It is paired with the Radeon 760M integrated GPU for graphics. This laptop offers you two different performance modes – 35W and 45W, and you can easily switch between them with Fn+P.

In order to sustain heavier workloads, Honor has added dual large-diameter heat pipes paired with a high-performance fan with s-shaped slim fan blades. According to the company, it has improved the heat dissipation capability of the machine.

This Ryzen edition MagicBook X16 boasts a 60Wh battery pack, which offers 13.5 hours of local 1080P video playback and 11.8 hours of average office work. It also supports 65W fast charging.

It also supports Honor’s smart connectivity features which include keyboard and mouse sharing, call sharing, camera sharing, notification sharing, and more between multiple Honor devices. These features could be great in making the most of the resources you have access to.
