OnePlus is gearing up to launch what might be the brand’s first-ever foldable smartphone. The phone will be called the OnePlus Open, and our earlier reports suggest that the company will introduce it in the third quarter of this year. According to a recent post by MaxJmb, OnePlus Open might be a competitor to Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy Z Fold 5. For those unaware, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is Samsung’s latest foldable smartphone, having a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 12GB of RAM. As per Max Jambor, OnePlus Open will be available in Voyage Black and Emerald Eclipse color variants. This will surely give the device an appealing look. The smartphone is said to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC accompanied by 16GB RAM. The device will have 256GB of storage backed by a 4800mAh battery unit with 67W fast charging support.
