In May, Motorola unveiled the Motorola Edge+ 2023 in the US. It debuted as a rebranded version of the Moto X40 available in the Chinese market and the Edge 40 Pro available in Europe. While there have been no concrete leaks about the specifications of the Edge 2023, it appears that it could be a rebadged version of the Edge 40 available in Europe and India. Pricebaba has shared a leaked render of the Edge 2023 to give a first look at its design.

The leaked render shows that the Edge 2023 resembles the Edge 40 in appearance. The device features a curved-edge OLED display, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and a dual-camera setup on the back. It appears that the back panel of the phone has a leather-like texture. It is unclear in which other colors the Edge 2023 will be available apart from the black edition shown in the leaked render.

Motorola Edge 2023 specifications (expected)

The Motorola Edge 2023 is likely to pack the same specifications that are available on the Motorola Edge 40. The device will arrive with a 6.55-inch P-OLED panel that offers Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera system. It will have an under-display fingerprint sensor and run on My UX-based Android 13.

The Edge 2023 will feature the Dimensity 8020 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and a 4,400mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. The phone will arrive with 256 GB of internal storage.
