The JBL Soundgear Sense earbuds are designed to allow the user to keep tabs on environmental sound. The user can hear the world around him while enjoying music playback. The new JBL audio products include the Live 770NC and 670NC headphones and the PartyBox Ultimate party speaker. JBL is also demonstrating the new Authentics-branded smart speakers during IFA 2023. The speakers support both Alexa and Google Assistant simultaneously – a first, according to JBL.

The Soundgear Sense is equipped with ear hooks and is rated IP54 for sweat resistance. It has a detachable neckband that allows the device to be used as TWS earbuds or wireless neckband earbuds. The neckband offers extra security for the device when engaged in exercises. The Soundgear Sense’s open design is being propped as notches above the transparency modes in other models. It says the naturally open design of the earbuds provides a true connection with the outside world. The Soundgear Sense is a competitor to the Sony LinkBuds.
