Samsung W series Launch event

According to a recent post on Weibo, Samsung Galaxy has officially confirmed that the Samsung W series will be announced on September 15. For those unaware, the Samsung W24 and W24 Flip are said to be rebranded versions of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, respectively. This W series will likely have similar specifications as the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Aside from the powerful specifications, the series has been in the news for its premium designs. It is also worth adding that the company, in partnership with China Telecom, has used the profits from the series for charity.

Galaxy Z Fold 5 Specifications

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a 7.6-inch display with an 1812 x 2176 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor with 12GB RAM. This smartphone has three available storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1 TB. It operates on an Android 13 operating system accompanied by a 4400mAh battery.

Lastly, the Fold 5 comes with a rear triple camera setup having 50MP (wide), 10MP (Telephoto), and 12MP(ultrawide), while on the front, it is equipped with a 4MP(wide) and the cover camera is 10MP (wide).
