Huawei’s 2022 flagship smartwatch, the GT 3 Pro has started receiving a new firmware update—version 3.0.0.101—in Europe. The update includes a number of new features and optimizations to improve the user experience.

These new features include hibernation mode, which puts the watch into a low-power state when not in use, and a context menu that provides quick access to frequently used settings. The update also includes a new feature that detects when the band is not properly fitted during exercise.

Note:

  • For a better user experience, it is recommended to first update the Huawei Health app to the latest version in the app store
  • Do not disconnect the Bluetooth connection during the update. If the update fails, try again
  • It may take a little time to update the wearable. Wait for the progress bar on the device to indicate the end of the process. The device will restart automatically after the update is complete
  • If you encounter any problems while using the device, call the Huawei customer hotline or visit a Huawei customer service center

To download the update, Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro users can open the Huawei Health app and go to Me > Check for Updates.
