Apple’s iPhone 15 series is expected to launch in September, and new reports suggest that the company will be releasing a new line of “FineWoven” cases to accompany the new phones. The cases are said to replace the leather cases and will match a new magnetic Apple Watch band. They are expected to be available in ten different colors.

Kosutami, a leaker, reported that the new line of “FineWoven” cases will likely be available in Black, Mulberry, Taupe, Evergreen, Pacific Blue, Wisteria, Antique White, Butter Yellow, Orange, and Pink.

The cases are expected to have rubber-wrapped edges that are a little darker than the color of the rear “woven” part of the case, as shown in many of the leaked pictures that have circulated online. According to the leaker, “FineWoven” is the name that Apple is expected to give to its new material.

Kosutami previously said that Apple is likely to release a new woven fabric band with a magnetic buckle alongside the Watch Series 9. He now says that the band will be made from the same material as the new line of premium iPhone cases.

Earlier this month, there were rumors that Apple was planning to discontinue leather cases for the iPhone 15 series. Some sources also suggested that the company might use a leather substitute with a woven fabric look, and this is now being supported by Kosutami’s claims.

The iPhone 15 series launch is scheduled for September 12. It was reported that Apple is expected to release the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max in two new colors: Titan Grey and Dark Blue. These colors would replace the current Gold and Purple options. Apple might also offer the iPhone 15 Pro models in Silver and Space Black.
