Mercedes-Benz CLA Concept Previews Stylish, Efficient Electric Coupe

According to Carscoops, which keeps its finger on the pulse of the automotive world, Mercedes has unveiled the electric CLA concept on the eve of the Munich Motor Show. The concept is a sleek four-door coupe with a shark nose front end. It features a fully enclosed and illuminated grille as well as distinctive headlights that feature the Mercedes star logo.

The CLA Concept has a sloping windshield, a curved roof, and a long wheelbase. This makes the car more spacious for passengers in the back. The door handles are hidden, and the wheels are big. The rear end is curved, and the glass roof has stars that light up. Under the skin, the CLA Concept is powered by a dual-motor electric drivetrain that produces 201 horsepower and 229 pound-feet of torque.

The battery pack is located under the floor, giving the car a low center of gravity. Mercedes says the concept has a range of over 466 miles on a single charge. In addition to its sleek design and impressive electric range, the CLA Concept also features a number of advanced technologies. These include a Level 2 autonomous driving system, a head-up display, and a widescreen infotainment system.

The Mercedes CLA Concept is still a concept car, so it is not yet available for purchase. The production model is expected to be released in 2024. Mercedes has not yet announced the pricing for the production model, but it is expected to be similar to the current CLA-Class, which starts at around $33,000-$50,000.
