Samsung has finally launched its first TVs with WOLED panels from LG Display in Europe. The TVs come in two variants, S89C and S91C, and both variants are available in 77-inch and 83-inch sizes. This means, altogether there are four Samsung OLED TVs that have arrived in the European market.

Samsung S89C S91C OLED TVs Launched Europe

The S89C TVs carry model numbers QE77S89C and QE83S89C for the 77-inch and 83-inch variants, respectively. Whereas, the 77-inch and 83-inch model on the S91C variant has model numbers QT77S91C and QT83S91C, respectively. Samsung S89C and S91C WRGB OLED TV features

The two TVs share similar specifications, including support for HLG, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, and HDR10+ Gaming. They also have 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage and Pantone Validated certification. 

In addition to HDR10+ support for gaming, the TV also has AMD FreeSync Premium certification. The panel has a claimed response time of 0.1 ms GTG and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

The TVs come with all the essential connectivity options, such as an optical audio out port, one Ethernet port, and three USB Type-A ports. They also have four HDMI 2.1 ports that support HFR and VRR. Wireless connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, Wireless DeX, DLNA, AirPlay 2, Miracast, MultiView, SmartView, and Bluetooth 5.2.

The TVs are powered by the new Quantum Neural Processor, which also supports 4K upscaling. In terms of audio, they have a 40W 2.1-channel speaker setup with Wireless Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony 2.0, Active Voice Amplifier, Adaptive Sound Plus, and Object Tracking Sound Lite.

The S89C and S91C OLED TVs also have a Solar Cell Remote that can be charged using ambient light, nearby radio waves, or the USB Type-C port.

The TVs also come with a variety of extras, including Alexa, Bixby, Game Bar, Google Assistant, Samsung Gaming Hub, Samsung Health, Samsung TV Plus, SmartThings, SmartThings Hub, and Super Ultrawide GameView.

As for the design, both of them have a sleek, virtually bezel-free design and a streamlined stand that looks great anywhere. You can also mount it flush to the wall for a more modern look.
