Following the release of the Phantom V Fold, Tecno is gearing up to expand its foldable smartphone portfolio with the new Phantom V Flip model. But ahead of its launch, the Phantom V Flip‘s design was leaked. The news arrives from an Vopmart listing (spotted by TechGoing), so let’s have a look.

Tecno Phantom V Flip Design

The design of the upcoming clamshell folding phone was revealed via leaked renders of a protective case. Looking at the listing on the Chinese e-commerce platform, we can see various images of the new protective cover. The case reveals that the Phantom V Flip features a large circular camera island on the rear. This module houses a dual camera setup along with an LED flash. Notably, this is the same case render that was leaked earlier this week.

Since it folds like a flip phone, its design is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Oppo Find N3 model. The case renders also revealed that the Tecno Phantom V Flip will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and even offers us a look at the circular external screen housed within the camera module. Talking about the device, it sports a tall 6.75-inch flexible AMOLED display that has an FHD+ resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

On the rear, the camera module will house a 64-megapixel primary sensor that is paired with a 13-megapixel ultra wide angle lens. Meanwhile, the front will feature a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. The rear panel is a smaller screen that has a 466 x 466 resolution that is built for quick access. Other notable features include Dimensity 8050, a 4,000mAh battery pack, 66W fast charging, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage.
