Honor‘s return to the Indian market will be heralded by the introduction of the Honor 90 5G smartphone. While the precise launch date remains undisclosed, the brand has begun hinting at its features on Amazon India. Ahead of the official launch, the brand has now confirmed that just like the global model, the Indian Honor 90 smartphone will also feature a 200MP primary camera.

Honor shared the news through a tweet from their HTech account, confirming the 200MP camera. This camera is likely to be Samsung’s 200MP ISOCELL HP3 sensor, found in phones like the Realme 11 Pro+. Interestingly, despite the powerful camera, the global version of the phone can’t record video in 4K at 60fps or 8K. It’s expected that this limitation will also apply to the Indian version.

In the photography department, the 200MP main camera is accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there’s a high-resolution 50MP camera for great selfies and video calls.

Leaks suggest that the device will have a starting price of around Rs 35,000 and we can expect it to launch on September 21.
