Following a recent leak, GoPro has officially announced the new Hero 12 Black in India. The camera arrives with some notable specs and features. It was released with the Max Lens Mod 2.0 accessory as well, so here are all the details.
GoPro Hero 12 Black Camera Specs
The Hero 12 Black portable camera is being marketed as a perfect vlogging and narration companion. The company promises that it will be offering long lasting battery life, high-resolution videos, HDR support, and much top-notch video stabilization. Thanks to the Max Lens Mod 2.0 accessory, users can widen the field of view, which comes with a more durable lens. The Hero 12 Black also supports wireless audio recording from products like the Apple AirPods. The camera is a 27MP sensor that can record at 5.3K resolution at 60fps.
The Hero 12 Black offers great video stabilization even as the camera rotates 360 degrees. Notably, GoPro subscribers get access to automatic cloud uploads with unlimited storage and a damaged camera replacement offer. As the name suggests, the camera comes in black and features a durable and waterproof body. It supports capturing videos vertically as well, with an aspect ratio of 9:16 and 4K resolution for social media.

The GoPro Hero 12 Black Camera is available in two variants. The first is the Standard Edition, which is being sold for a price tag of 45,000 INR. On the other hand, there is also a Creators Edition that brings the Media Mod, Light Mod, and Voltra grip accessories for a 65,000 INR price tag. The device will go on sale on 13th September 2023 and can be found via online and offline retailers like Amazon across India.
