Google‘s new Pixel 8 series smartphones will be unveiled on October 4th. Before the big reveal, Google has shared a sneak peek in the form of their first official teaser.

Google Pixel 8 Pro

In this preview, Google reveals the design of the Pixel 8 Pro and announces that pre-orders will kick off on October 4. Additionally, they confirm that the Porcelain color variant will be an option for this device.

Interestingly, the teaser also reveals matching accessories, with the Pixel Watch 2 and the Pixel Buds Pro, both in the Porcelain color scheme as well. We have already covered a report revealing two new upcoming color options for the already-released Pixel Buds Pro.

Google Pixel Watch 2

Currently, we know that the Pixel 8 Pro will come in at least three color variants: Licorice (Black), Porcelain, and Sky (Blue). We can expect the Pixel Watch 2 to also offer these color options as well. Last month, the complete spec sheet and features of the Pixel Watch 2 were also leaked revealing some interesting details like the UWB tech and the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC.

Google Pixel 8 Pro specifications

Recent reports have unveiled key details about the Pixel 8 Pro. This smartphone will feature an 11-megapixel front-facing camera. Meanwhile, its rear camera ensemble will consist of a 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 primary camera, boasting optical image stabilization (OIS), a 64-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera.

It will feature a 6.7-inch OLED LTPO display, with a Quad HD+ resolution of 1344 x 2992 pixels and a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It will come out of the box with Android 14 already installed and will run on a robust 4,950mAh battery, capable of fast 27W wired charging and convenient 23W wireless charging. The device will be powered by the Tensor G3 chip, accompanied by a generous 12 GB of RAM and storage options that can go as high as 512 GB.
