After launching the 5G-enabled Mate 60 5G and Mate 60 Pro 5G in recent days in China, Huawei is back with the more powerful Mate 60 Pro+. The new flagship phone is now listed on Huawei Mall for pre-orders. The Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ sports a generous 6.82-inch OLED LTPO screen that supports a 1.5K resolution of 2720 x 1260 pixels, a 1Hz- 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, P3 color gamut, and second-generation Kunlun glass. It comes with a 13-megapixel front camera and a 3D depth camera for 3D face recognition.

When it comes to photography, the rear camera setup of the Mate 60 Pro+ offers a 48-megapixel primary camera with OIS and f/1.4 – f/4.0 variable aperture, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 48-megapixel ultra-macro telephoto camera with OIS. The phone comes preloaded with the latest Harmony OS 4.0. Under the hood, the Mate 60 Pro+ has the Kirin 9000s chip, 16 GB of RAM, and up to 1 TB of storage. The Mate 60 and Mate 60 Pro support two-way text messaging over the Beiduo network, whereas the Mate 60 Pro+ supports calling over the Tialong satellite.

The Mate 60 Pro+ packs a substantial 5000mAh battery, which supports 88W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Furthermore, it offers the convenience of 20W wireless reverse charging. Additional features available on the Mate 60 Pro+ include an NM card slot, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, an IR blaster, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, two-way satellite communication, and an IP68-rated water and dust resistant chassis.

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ comes in variants like 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage and 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The prices of these variants have not been disclosed yet. It comes in shades like Inkstone Black and Xuan Bai (beige). The pre-orders of the Mate 60 Pro+ are now live on Huawei Mall, and it’s set to go on sale on Oct. 9. Interested buyers in China can pre-order the device by spending 1,000 Yuan (~$136).
