The new Peugeot E-3008 comes with significant improvements in its electric powertrain and interior technology over its predecessor. The all-new C-segment Crossover is based on the STLA Medium platform, which is a first for a series production model. The STLA was developed by Stellantis, of which Peugeot is a sub-brand. The new model will be offered in two trims – Allure and GT, with three option packages and three electric powertrain options.

The first variant of the all-new E-3008 is equipped with a 400V nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) 73kWh battery pack and a front-mounted 157kW electric motor with a torque of 343Nm. The estimated driving range of the first model is 326 miles. The second variant is the dual-motor version with the same battery pack and electric motor. It however includes a rear 83kW, 166Nm electric motor and has a combined output of 240kW. The dual-motor version of the model has the same 326-mile estimated range as its single-motor sibling. The long-range version of the Peugeot E-3008 comes with a 98kWh battery pack and a range of 435 miles.

Several driving modes are available in the Peugeot E-3008 series EVs. The E-3008 can be recharged via AC or DC through its charging port located at its rear left mudguard. Its onboard charger supports 11kW power from a three-phase source. An optional 22kW charger is also available. The E-3008 can also accept 160kW DC charging from a compatible station. This can fully charge the EV in under 60 minutes. The models enjoy the vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality due to STLA architecture. You can get power from the high-voltage battery via the charging plug for household appliances.

The Peugeot E-3008 also features an excellent regenerative braking system at low, moderate, and increased levels. The EV is 178 inches long, 74 inches wide, and 64 inches tall. The series comes with some of the famed designs of the Peugeot brand like a three-clawed light signature. There are six color options for the model including Pearl Black and Titanium Gray.

The interior of the E-3008 has an i-Cockpit 21-inch curved widescreen display. It sits on top of the dashboard and acts as both an infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster. The all-new Peugeot E-3008 will be built in France and will debut by the end of 2023.
