OnePlus is rolling out a new firmware update for the OnePlus Nord N20 SE global variant with some fixes and a new security patch. The affordable OnePlus smartphone is receiving firmware CPH2469_13.1.1.520(EX01) via incremental rollout.

The update brings the latest September 2023 Android Security Patch to enhance the system security. The new patch brings a fix for severe zero-day vulnerability where a user could have received access to a device without user interaction. Further, there is a fix for three critical vulnerabilities along with other less severe potential issues. Below is the official changelog:

It is highly advisable to keep updating your smartphone with the latest security patches. For the OnePlus Nord N20 SE, the users can head over to Settings > About > System Update to check for the updates.

OxygenOS 14 Update

Additionally, OnePlus is working on the latest Android 14-based OxygenOS 14, and the Open Beta for the same is already out for OnePlus 11. The users can easily participate in the OOS 14 Closed Beta or Open Beta programs to get hold of the latest features first. The Closed Beta is already out for the OnePlus Nord 3, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, OnePlus 11R, OnePlus 11 (Open Beta also available), OnePlus Nord 2T and OnePlus 10 Pro. If the user owns any of the above devices, they can enjoy the OOS 14 which bundles several new features including the Trinity Engine.
