Yesterday Redmi announced that it will launch the next-generation Note 13 series next week in China. The lineup is expected to comprise standard, pro, and pro+ models. The Xiaomi sub-brand has already teased the upcoming offering’s display details. Now, in a series of new Weibo posts, Redmi has revealed a host of camera information about the Note 13 series along with confirming the processor on the Pro+ variant. The next-generation Redmi Note 13 series will arrive as the successor to the last year’s Redmi Note 12 lineup. 

Redmi Note 13 series camera details teased, processor revealed

As per the teasers, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is confirmed to feature a 200MP Samsung HP3 1/1.4-inch camera sensor with f/1.65 aperture. It will pack a Smart ISO Pro feature that will automatically adjust the ISO output depending on the situation. The teasers also reveal support for OIS and EIS for shake-free video recording.

Another poster reveals that the Redmi Note 13 Pro series will support three focal lengths with an in-sensor zoom and 4x optical lossless zoom. The smartphones are touted to shoot images quickly in 1.3 seconds after pressing the shutter button. However, it remains to be seen if these features will also arrive on the standard and pro variants. 

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is confirmed to be powered by a Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor that is fabricated on a 4nm process. 

As per past teasers, the Redmi Note 13 series has a Xiaomi 13-like camera module design with the Pro+ model ditching the square island. The Pro+ also has a slim profile, a leather back panel, and a curved display compared to the boxy form factor, a glass back, and a flat screen on standard and pro variants. The Redmi Note 13 Pro and Pro+ will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with 1,800 nits peak brightness and an integrated fingerprint scanner.
