The Xiaomi MIJIA Portable Electric Heating Cup 2 has been launched in China. The new heating cup is designed for business trips and can provide heating liquids up to 99ºC in 8 minutes. This affords the business traveler to be satisfied with the hygiene of the hot water or tea he consumes. The handy electric cup was released on Xiaomi Youpin.
The MIJIA portable electric heating cup 2 is the size of a regular thermos cup and it has a wired plug-in design. It is convenient to use the cup to meet your hot water/ tea drinking needs anytime. The electric heating cup is compact and can be easily carried around. It has a heating power of 300W and supports 6-level temperature adjustment between 45ºC and 99ºC. The cup has a volume of 350ml and it takes about 8 minutes to heat the water to 99ºC.
The Xiaomi MIJIA Portable Electric Heating Cup 2 does not use batteries. Rather, it is powered by 110/220V voltage. It is easier to carry the electric cup on overseas trips. It however supports multi-level constant temperature. It automatically enters the smart constant temperature mode after boiling the water. It can retain hotness for up to 12 hours, according to Xiaomi.
The electric cup has a double-layer vacuum insulation design for effective temperature retention. The inner tank of the electric cup is made of stainless steel and equipped with a breathable membrane plus a pressure relief valve. The pressure system can effectively eliminate the pressure in the tank during heating.
The Xiaomi MIJIA electric cup has a fuse and a bottom shell water-blocking structure. The electric cup is currently retailing only in China for 149 yuan (~$20). The product is available on Xiaomi Youpin. There are no indications yet on the global availability of the model.
