After debuting the 540Hz Acer Nitro XV242F gaming monitor last week, the brand has now unveiled another monitor in its Nitro series called the Acer Nitro XV282K V3. This is a new 4K monitor from the brand aimed at gamers. Keep reading to learn more about its specs and features.

The Acer Nitro XV282K is a 28-inch 4K UHD gaming monitor with In-plane Switching (IPS) technology for wide 178-degree viewing angles. It boasts a swift 1 ms GTG response time, minimizing motion blur for fast-paced gaming. The LED backlight enhances brightness and efficiency, and it’s VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified for improved contrast.

The monitor supports 1.07 billion colors and offers an 8-bit+FRC (10-bit with Dithering) color depth and a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1. AMD FreeSync Premium technology prevents tearing during gameplay, and it covers 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The native contrast ratio is 1,000:1. This monitor offers versatile placement options, including wall mounting, a height adjustment of up to 5.12 inches, and swivel and tilt angles.

Audio-wise, it has 2W built-in speakers. The active display area measures 621×341 mm, featuring an anti-glare screen surface. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4, supporting high refresh rates, with an overclocked max of 150 Hz.

Physically, it’s 14.6 inches in height, 25 inches in width, and 2.9 inches in depth without the stand. With the stand, it measures 22.68 inches in height, 25.04 inches in width, and 10.59 inches in depth, weighing approximately 11.64 lb without the stand and 16.80 lb with it.
