After a successful global launch in Europe and the US last month, Redmi is now set to introduce its Redmi Pad SE tablet to the Chinese market. This budget-friendly tablet, priced starting at €199, garnered attention overseas and is now ready to make its debut in the brand’s home market of China.

In a recent Weibo teaser, Redmi has officially announced that the Chinese version of the Pad SE tablet is scheduled for its launch on September 21, 2023, at 7 PM local time. Notably, the teaser has also confirmed key features of the tablet, including its 11-inch display, TUV Rheinland certification, and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. These specifications align with those of the global variant, indicating that the Chinese model will offer the same specs as its international counterpart.

The Redmi Pad SE boasts an 11-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, featuring a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 400 nits. It also holds TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission, ensuring comfortable extended usage. The tablet sports a 5MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera with support for 1080p video recording. When it comes to audio, the Pad SE impresses with quad speakers, Dolby Atmos technology, and Hi-Res audio support, promising a great audiovisual experience.
