Vivo is preparing to launch a new member for the Vivo Y22 Series which was launched last year for the affordable market segment. The Vivo Y22T has already appeared on NBTC and is spotted on Geekbench with some specification information. The same device today surfaces on the Bluetooth SIG certification confirming the presence of a Bluetooth 5.0 module.

The listing doesn’t reveal any other specification information, but it does affirm the nearing launch of the smartphone.

As per the previous reports the Vivo Y22T will be rebranded old smartphone, which Vivo would sell at a reasonable price point. It is quite hard to distinguish between differences that it would carry in comparison with the previous models in the same series.

The upcoming affordable smartphone will bundle quite a similar design and hardware and will retail at an aggressive price.

As revealed by Geekbench, the smartphone model name is “Bengal” and supports a 4G LTE network. It scored 377 scores in the single-core tests and 1501 points in the multi-core test. It bundles an octa-core Qualcomm Chip having 4x cores @2.40GHz and 4x cores @1.90GHz. There’s a 6GB RAM variant, and we expect another 4GB RAM variant too.

It is expected to feature a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast wired charging. The smartphone appears to run Android 13 out of the box. A dual-rear camera module is expected for the smartphone comprising a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. There will be an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
