Amazfit recently introduced its Cheetah series of smartwatches globally. Now, the brand has revealed that two of these smartwatches will soon be available in India. It appears that the Amazfit Cheetah square and round models, featuring built-in AI running coach, are on their way to the Indian market. Keep reading to learn more about these smartwatches.
Amazfit Cheetah (round/square) specs
The Amazfit Cheetah Square smartwatch features a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 450 x 390 resolution and an impressive peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It offers an Always-On Display and includes 100 pre-loaded watch faces. In the fitness department, it stands out with over 150 sports modes and Amazon Alexa support for voice commands.
Battery life is a strong suit, providing up to 8 days of usage on a single charge, with 13 hours of battery life even when GPS tracking is enabled. Weighing just 25 grams without a strap, it’s lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear, and it boasts a 5ATM water resistance rating for various water-related activities.
The Amazfit Cheetah Square also features a BioTracker PPG biometric sensor for health tracking, including blood-oxygen levels, stress levels, breathing patterns, sleep quality, and menstrual cycle tracking. It even offers real-time heart rate monitoring during swimming.
Moving on to the Amazfit Cheetah Round, it sports a round dial with two buttons, including a crown, and a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 454×454 resolution and an anti-fingerprint coating. It’s powered by a 440mAh battery, delivering up to 14 days of battery life.
Health tracking capabilities include blood-oxygen monitoring, stress assessment, breathing analysis, sleep tracking, health reminders, menstrual cycle tracking, and swimming heart rate monitoring. It offers over 150 sports modes and includes the Zepp Coach Running Coach.
Sensors like an acceleration sensor, gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, barometric altimeter, and ambient light sensor ensure precise tracking. Bluetooth v5.3 provides reliable connectivity, and it features a circularly polarized GPS antenna with dual-band positioning. The smartwatch offers a water-resistance grade of 5 ATM and offers smart features like Amazon Alexa voice assistant and app notifications, managed through the Zepp App.
Price & availability
Currently, the Amazfit Cheetah (Round) is the only model listed on the brand’s official Indian website, with a price tag of Rs. 19,999, discounted from its original price of Rs. 25,999.
