Teclast has launched the P85T tablet with decent specifications and an affordable price tag. The slate lands with an 8-inch display that is supported by a 5,000mAh battery and an Allwinner A523 processor. The P85T comes after Teclast unveiled the M50 Pro and T40 Air tablets in August. Here are the detailed specifications of the new device.

Teclast P85T

The new Teclast P85T brings a good-looking design with curved edges and thick bezels on the display. There are two rings on the back, one of which features a camera sensor while another fits the LED flash. The tablet brings an 8-inch display that resolves at 1,280 x 800 pixels. It is powered by an Allwinner A523 chipset, paired with 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

The chipset brings eight ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores split equally into two clusters operating at 1.8 GHz and 1.42 GHz, respectively (via NoteBookCheck). The Allwinner A523 has a Mali-G57 MC1 GPU and is manufactured around 22 nm nodes.

Teclast P85T also comes with 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash storage, a MicroSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It packs a 5,000mAh battery and charges through a USB Type-C port. For photography, Teclast has equipped the tablet with 2 MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front-facing shooter.

Teclast P85T tablet weighs 335 grams. It is listed for purchase at $79.99 and the company also sells a Folio Case for an additional US$14.99.
