Xiaomi debuted the Redmi Note 13 series in China today as the successor to the last year’s Redmi Note 12 series. While the Pro+ variant packs significant upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 also come with notable improvements. Alongside the smartphones, the Xiaomi sub-brand has also announced a tablet and TWS earphone. Let’s take a look at the Note 13 Pro. 

Redmi Note 13 Pro specifications and features

The Redmi Note 13 Pro has a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout. It features a 1.5K display resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,600 nits peak brightness. The phone is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The display is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Design-wise, the device has a boxy form factor. There is a square camera module on the back panel. 

On the imaging front, the Redmi Note 13 Pro features triple rear cameras. The setup comprises a 200MP Samsung sensor paired with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP third unit. There is a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies. The device supports OIS for shake-free video recording.

Internally, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. It packs up to 16GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. The device is backed by a 5,100mAh battery unit with support for 67W fast charging. It runs on Android 13 OS out of the box. The smartphone has an X-axis linear motor, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G.

The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 1,499 ($205) and CNY 1,599 ($218) respectively. The 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB costs CNY 1,799 ($246) and CNY 1,999 ($273) respectively. The 16GB + 512GB carries a price tag of CNY 2,099 ($287). The smartphone will be available for purchase from September 26.
