Back in August, the Redmi Pad SE debuted in Europe. It is a toned-down version of the Redmi Pad from last year. Previously, this tablet was expected to be Redmi Pad 2.

A month later, the device has now made its way to China. It was unveiled at the Redmi Note 13 series launch event today.

The Redmi Pad SE sports a metal unibody construction. It measures 7.36mm in thickness and weighs 478g. 

The device is built around an 11-inch display with an 84.4% screen-to-body ratio. This LCD panel has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 207 PPI, and a 90Hz refresh rate. It supports 400 nits peak brightness level, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and stylus input.

Under the hood, the tablet houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip paired with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage. On the software front, it boots MIUI 14 for Pad based on Android 13.

It comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Further, it not only has Dolby Atmos-supported quad speakers but also a 3.5mm headphone jack and a MicroSD card slot.

As for connectivity, the tablet offers dual-band WiFi and  Bluetooth 5.0. Finally, it is backed by an 8,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging over USB Type-C.

Redmi Pad SE China Price

Unsurprisingly, the Redmi Pad SE is way more affordable in Xiaomi’s home country China. It starts at just ¥999 (~$135) for 6GB + 128GB compared to a €229 price tag in Europe for the same variant.

Here’s the pricing for all memory configurations.

  • 6GB + 128GB – ¥999 (~$135)
  • 8GB + 128GB – ¥1,099 (~$150)
  • 8GB + 256GB – ¥1,299 (~$180)

It can be availed in either gray, purple, or green color options. It is already up for sale in the country.
