Xiaomi is known for producing one of the best camera smartphones for the last few years. This started with the company’s introduction of the Ultra series.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is the company’s second-gen ultra phone with a 1-inch camera sensor. Rumors say that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will continue to use the same-sized sensor.

Earlier today, a reliable source revealed more details about this upcoming handset. Let’s check out what the new leak has to say.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will sport a new 1-inch Sony LYT900 primary sensor. This image sensor is an optimized version of IMX9898 found inside Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and Xiaomi 13 Pro.

This primary camera will be accompanied by three 50MP sensors. Two of them will be paired with 3x and 5x zoom lenses and the remaining one will be attached with an ultra-wide lens. The 3x camera will support telephoto macro like the Xiaomi 13 Pro.

Further, the tipster states that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. On the front, it will be equipped with a 2K quad curved display featuring a single centered punch hole.

The curvature of the screen on all four sides will be minimal. Finally, the quad cameras on the rear will be placed in a circular fashion, just like the last two generations.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to launch in the first half of next year. But before that, the company is anticipated to release Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro in November.
