Just a hot minute after the release of the iPhone 15, buzz about Apple’s next marvel, the iPhone 16, is already making waves. Fresh off the press, reports suggest a significant name change—Apple is expected to call its top-tier model “Ultra,” not the usual “Pro Max.”

The camera modules of the iPhone 16 may be compatible with the Vision Pro Headset

The name change isn’t just for show. Sources like Apple Product Blog Reporter Majin Bu suggest that the iPhone 16 Ultra will introduce three new compact camera modules. What makes this particularly interesting is the fact that these modules are said to be compatible with the Vision Pro headset, possibly taking augmented reality experiences to a whole new level.

Battery life getting you down? Worry no more. The standard iPhone 16 will probably aim to offer a 120 Hz refresh rate and a nifty feature to switch to “millimeter wave mode” to conserve battery. Sounds like Apple is thinking ahead to keep us unplugged for longer.

Another attention-grabber is the alleged “View Button” on the iPhone 16 Pro. Not only is this similar to Microsoft‘s Glance Bar used in the Surface Duo 2, but it’s also a physical button, not a digital one. Could this be a nostalgic nod to physical buttons or a functional tweak for an enhanced user experience?

Adding meat to the bones, earlier leaks propose that the iPhone 16 series will make use of virtual solid-state buttons—bringing both aesthetics and functionality to the table. The Pro version is anticipated to feature a 6.3-inch screen and impressive camera upgrades, including a 48Mp main camera and 5X polyprism Telephoto. That would be an exciting addition to the future iPhone. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
