We are approaching Google’s annual event where the search giant is expected to unveil the next-generation Pixel 8 series smartphones and the Pixel Watch 2. In the last few days, leaks and rumours have revealed full information about the Pixel 8 devices leaving nothing to the imagination. Now the Pixel Watch 2 has appeared in a leaked promo video confirming its key details.

The Google Pixel Watch 2 is already confirmed to have the same design as its predecessor. It is teased to have an IP68 rating and a 5 ATM water resistance. In a new development, Kamila Wojciechowska has shared a promo video of the upcoming smartwatch revealing that it will come with more features compared to the last year’s model. 

The report adds that the Pixel Watch 2 will be equipped with Fitbit’s multi-path heart-rate sensor for an accurate and robust measurement of heart rate even during vigorous exercise. The promo video also confirms the presence of a skin temperature sensor. There will be a cEDA (electrodermal activity). The wearable device is said to utilize Fitbit’s stress management system to detect stress in the user’s body. Users will be prompted to log their current mood and give suggestions. It will also be capable of tracking pace. 

As previously reported, the Google Pixel Watch 2 will pack enhanced safety features. The promo video reiterates the Safety Check feature will make attempts to verify that the user is okay and if they don’t respond, their emergency contacts will be notified of their location. The Emergency Sharing will also share the user’s location with trusted contacts. The smartwatch is claimed to offer 24 hours of battery life with AOD enabled. The promo video also hints that the Pixel Watch 2 will be offered in metal slim and active sport bands.
