Xiaomi has officially launched the Mijia 3D printer, a desktop 3D printer with built-in curing and AI-powered slicing. The printer is available now for 1,999 yuan (about $300 USD), with an introductory price of 1,899 yuan.
The Mijia 3D printer is unique in that it combines 3D printing and curing into a single device. This means that users can print and cure their models in a single device, without having to purchase or use separate curing equipment. The printer comes pre-leveled and requires no assembly, so users can start printing right away.
Xiaomi says that the printer’s curing system is specially designed for complex structures. It works closely with special environmentally-friendly consumables to reinforce the printed model layer by layer, making it strong and stable.
The Mijia 3D printer also features a professional-grade intelligent consumable management system. This system includes an independent material cartridge compartment with automatic feeding and returning, eliminating the need for manual liquid filling and recycling. Additionally, the printer’s AI-powered slicing system automatically adjusts printing parameters, eliminating the need for users to learn complex slicing knowledge.
In addition to its printing and curing capabilities, the Mijia 3D printer is also equipped with a highly stable and high-precision Z-axis single-line guide rail, as well as a customized high-power motor. This ensures that the printer can produce high-quality prints consistently. Similarly, it comes with a built-in washing feature and has passed safety and environmental quality inspection.
As mentioned earlier, the introductory price of the Xiaomi Mijia 3D printer is 1,899 Yuan. It is available for purchase on JD.com in mainland China.
