Xiaomi has unveiled the MIJIA Large-capacity Suitcase in China. The Xiaomi MIJIA travel suitcase is a large-capacity suitcase with a thickened body and an explosion-proof zipper.
Features
The MIJIA travel suitcase is suitable for long-distance travel and its large capacity means it can accommodate much of the family luggage when traveling. It comes in three color options namely charcoal black, aqua blue, and avocado green. Its thickened box design makes the suitcase to be durable and difficult to break into. It also has an explosion-proof zipper as an added layer of security. The travel suitcase is available in three sizes – 24 inches, 26 inches, and 28 inches.
The suitcase has a 3:7 body ratio and a compartment design. This makes it convenient for storage and opening/ closing. The 26-inch and 28-inch versions of the MIJIA travel suitcase have built-in, removable partitions for enhanced versatility. This allows the owner to freely divide the space available in the suitcase. The suitcase is made of antibacterial fabric with a bacterial removal rate of up to 99%. This ensures that bacteria are inhibited effectively in and around the suitcase. The explosion-proof zipper has a double-layer pull-tooth design that can prevent the suitcase from exploding.
The case shell of the MIJIA travel suitcase is made of impact-resistant PC raw material Covestro. The suitcase uses 360-degree universal wheels. It is equipped with handles on the front, top, and side. It also has anti-collision corner guards while TSA custom locks complete the security architecture of the MIJIA travel suitcase.
Pricing & Availability
The Xiaomi MIJIA travel suitcase is available at a starting launch price of 449 yuan ($62) for the 24-inch model. The launch prices of the 26-inch and 28-inch suitcases are 499 yuan ($69) and 549 yuan ($76) respectively. The original prices of the three variants are 529 yuan ($73), 579 yuan ($80), and 629 yuan ($87). The MIJIA travel suitcase can be purchased from retail platforms in China such as JD.com.
