Xiaomi launched half a dozen new products in a Berlin-based event today. While the spotlight was on the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro and Xiaomi Smart Band 8 also made their debut. We are sticking to the Smart Band 8 in this article, which has been made available globally after its China debut in April. Like the previous Xiaomi fitness trackers, the Smart Band 8 retains a pill-shaped module, featuring a 1.6-inch AMOLED display. The panel offers a 60Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, Always On Display (AOD) mode, and plenty of watch faces.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is versatile product. It comes with a pebble clip mode, which lets you put the band on your shoe lace and better track your running activities. Additionally, the Band 8 has different size lugs for various types of straps (leather, woven leather, hollow bracelet, and TPU), so you can choose the one that best suits your style and needs.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is equipped with a heart-rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker, and menstrual cycle monitor. It can also measure stress levels and VO2 Max. In addition, the wearable comes with a vitatility metric, which measures your activity levers for 7 days and gives you a score out of 100. You also get over 150 sports modes.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 also has built-in games like Sudoku and 2048, and offers convenient features like notifications and weather updates. The smart band is claimed ti last up to 16 days on a single charge with AOD disabled. It can be charged fully in approximately 60 minutes.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 will be available for purchase in the Europe for 40 Euro ($43).
