Xiaomi will launch a crowdfunding campaign for the MIJIA smart electric steamer 12L on September 27. The MIJIA smart electric steamer 12L has a 1500W power capacity and supports NTC precise temperature control. The gadget delivers high-speed steaming and can also simmer to retain food nutrients.
The MIJIA smart electric steamer 12L has a double-layer architecture and a capacity of 12 liters. It can steam whole chicken or up to 8 corn cobs at a time. The steamer has a 2-liter water tank which allows you to monitor the remaining water volume. You can add water to the tank through the side of the steamer without opening the lid.
The Xiaomi MIJIA smart electric steamer has a unique drip tray design that prevents residual water from evaporating during cooking. This prevents odors from building up and it is also easier to clean soup residue. You can control the smart electric steamer 12L with the MIJIA app. The control features include 24-hour reservation and 8-hour automatic heat preservation. The steamer is also equipped with an intelligent display knob, water shortage, and temperature control sensors. The device therefore provides early warning to prevent the dry burning of food.
The Xiaomi MIJIA smart electric steamer 12L is priced at 269 yuan (~$37). The crowdfunding target and duration information are not known at this time. Xiaomi has also not released any global availability information for the product.
