Motorola has started rolling out the September 2023 Android security patch for the Moto G52. The smartphone is a part of the company’s popular G series of mid-range smartphones and the latest patch will update its security protection level.
Moto G52: September 2023 Android Security Update
Motorola is bringing the firmware version of S1SRS32.38-132-15, which has a total size of around 76MB. Unfortunately, the company is only bringing the updated security patch but isn’t bringing any major changes that will improve system performance or target any bugs. For those unaware, security patch updates basically enhance the security of your smartphone and these are typically released on a monthly basis.
Talking about the smartphone itself, the device sports a 6.6-inch AMOLED display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. The front also houses a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. On the other hand, the rear packs a 50-megapixel triple camera setup. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC that is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 30W fast charging. Other notable features include a side mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 13 OS, Adreno 610, a lightweight 169 gram design, and more. It arrives in Charcoal Gray and Porcelain White color option. Recently, the brand also announced a new Sky Blue color option for the Moto E13.
