Android 14 is officially here with new features and polished security and privacy features. Following the announcement, Realme published the Realme UI 5.0 Early Access Roadmap carrying the full list of compatible devices. The Chinese smartphone maker listed all the phones that will receive the Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 update over the next few months.

Following the Pixel devices, the Android 14 will soon arrive on smartphones from third-party OEMs like OnePlus, Samsung, Realme, Xiaomi, etc. After Samsung’s OneUI 6.0 Program, and OnePlus OOS 14 CBT, Realme is here with Realme UI 5.0 Early Access program.

The program is live for users in India and Russia, and the participants must know the terms before getting into the Early Access program.

Realme GT 2 Pro received RealmeUI 5.0 early access last month and now will be joined by Realme GT Neo 3/Neo 3 150W. Next Month, the Realme 11 Pro series will get the access to new UI Skin. Here’s the full list:

Realme UI 5.0 Features

The new iteration of Realme’s own skin comes preloaded with several new changes. As per the official changelog, these are newly added features and improvements.

Security and privacy:

• Improves photo and video-related permission management for safer access by apps.

Performance optimization:

• Improves system stability, the launch speed of apps, and the smoothness of animations.

System Improvement:

• Adding more apps that support APP Cloner, while expanding the list of APP Cloner.

• Media Output is set in Control Center for a long term.

Updated Design:

• Brings a natural, gentle, and clearer color style for a more comfortable color experience.

• Adds certain ringtones and revamps the system notification sounds.

• Improves system animations by making them even smoother.

Apart from the new feature additions, there are certain issues present on the Realme UI 5.0 Early Access Build. So, before updating the users must know that these features will not work on compatible smartphones:

1. When using floating windows, you may not be able to slide the desktop; you can pull down the status bar to fix it.

2. Glance Lock-screen is not available in Realme UI 5.0 Early Access; this function will be available in the following versions.
