As the launch of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is approaching, smartphone brands around the world are gearing up to launch new devices with the cutting-edge SoC. iQOO is rumored to be working on a new flagship, which will be called the iQOO 12 and will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. That being said, a new leak has revealed when we can expect this smartphone to arrive in India.

iQOO 12 series 2K display

As per known tipster Mukul Sharma, the iQOO 12 will be launched in India by November end, or early December. It will be the first smartphone to introduce the SD8 Gen 3 chip in the Indian market.

Leaked information suggests the iQOO 12 will feature an E7 AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor is expected to be coupled with the Adreno 750 GPU for robust performance.

Regarding memory and storage, users can choose between 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. Although Google has already launched Android 14, it looks like the iQOO 12 could run on Origin OS 4.0, based on Android 13 out of the box.

A detailed camera leak reveals that the iQOO 12 will have some powerful sensors onboard including a 50MP wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom.

The device is expected to be powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports an impressive 200W fast charging, reducing downtime significantly.
