Zero Zero Robotics has officially launched the HoverAir X1 flying camera for open sale on Amazon. The device was earlier launched under crowdfunding on Indiegogo as the Hover X1 and the company raised over $2 million in pledges. However, it is now on sale on Amazon under a different moniker and a slightly higher price tag.

The Zero Zero HOVERAir X1 is an innovative compact camera drone that will deliver up to 2.7K/ 30fps recording performance and it has a 3-second Palm Take-off feature. The model retails the same Visual Inertial Odometry and ToF support for reliable indoor flights as an alternative to GPS. It can be set to fly automatically and also features a remote control via its companion app. The camera is propped to deliver the most cinematic shots and weighs just 125g.

The HOVERAirX1 packs innovation and cutting-edge technology into its compact frame. It does not require a registration to fly across some jurisdictions including most parts of the United States.

Pricing & Availability

The HOVERAirX1 comes with two batteries and an external charger with a $479 price tag. The company is however offering a $100 discount (via a coupon) up until October 15. The drone is available in black or white color options. The fine performance optics of the pocket-sized HOVERAir X1 flying camera drone are bound to attract more attention on the back of a very powerful Indiegogo campaign.
