The analyst recently confirmed that the Cupertino based giant will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 modem in the next gen iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Jeff Pu claims that his prediction is based on his sources from Apple’s supply chain. Apart from just taller displays, the company will equip the iPhone 16 Pros with the same 12-megapixel tetra-prism lens as the Pro Max variant for the 5x optical zoom. This telephoto shooter will reportedly be paired with a new 48-megapixel ultra wide angle lens. This will be a notable upgrade from the 12-megapixel ultra wide camera on the current generation iPhones.

Lastly, Jeff Pu stated that the iPhone 16 Pro lineup will support Wi-Fi 7 standard, which can offer data speeds of up to 46Gbps. Other notable features of the new iPhone 16 Pro models include the 3nm based A18 Pro SoC, 8GB of RAM, and the faster Qualcomm 5G modem.
