After launching the Dangbei X5 Ultra laser projector last month, the brand has now launched a more affordable Dangbei X5 Pro model in China. Like its sibling, the X5 Pro also features 4K resolution and also has the same level of brightness.

The Dangbei X5 Pro laser 4K projector comes equipped with an array of impressive specifications and features. It employs DLP technology and incorporates a 0.47-inch DMD chip to offer a stunning 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Notably, it boasts a wide color gamut coverage, including 110% BT.2020 and 152% DCI-P3, ensuring vibrant and true-to-life colors. The projector delivers an impressive 2450 CVIA lumens of brightness, equivalent to around 4000 ANSI lumens. With a 30,000-hour laser light source lifespan, this projector promises long-lasting performance.

In terms of projection capabilities, the X5 Pro offers a 1.27:1 throw ratio, enabling it to project images of up to 200 inches in size. It simplifies setup with automatic focus, image correction, screen fit, and obstacle avoidance features. The projector runs on Android 11 and features the user-friendly Dangbei OS 4.0 interface. Additionally, it allows for easy screencasting from mobile devices.

The X5 Pro doesn’t compromise on audio quality, as it comes equipped with two built-in 12W speakers that are compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS-X. For added versatility, it supports external speakers through HDMI 2.1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0 ports. Connectivity is robust, thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6, while voice command functionality enhances user convenience. With 4+128 GB of memory, this projector offers ample storage for your content and applications.

Pricing & availability

Pre-orders for the Dangbei X5 Pro 4K laser projector are open in China, priced at 6,988 yuan ($957). The retail price will be 7,099 yuan ($971).
